Hennepin Domestic Abuse Service Center (DASC)
The Domestic Abuse Service Center (DASC) serves people who are victims of actual or threatened violence committed by a person with whom they have had a romantic or sexual relationship, or people who have lived together.
At DASC, District Court staff will help people at no cost complete the paperwork requesting a temporary Order for Protection (OFP). Several other city, county and advocacy agencies are on site at DASC to help people deal with domestic violence.
For the safety of the public and staff, DASC is not available for in-person meetings. Advocates will continue to help people with OFPs by telephone and email. If you do not have internet or phone access, a conference room with a phone is available at the Government Center (Room A0720) to talk with an advocate.
