MMLA- Citizenship Workshop
Permanent residents eligible for this workshop will speak with a staff person to complete a phone intake (approximately 30 minutes). If found eligible for the workshop, clients will be invited to a legal session where they meet with an attorney one-on-one in a group setting. During the meeting, generally two hours or more in length, volunteer attorneys complete the citizenship application and sign the application. Applications are filed with the immigration service and immigrants receive representation at the USCIS interview held approximately 1 year later.
