Anoka Criminal Expungement Clinic
Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record. People often request an expungement when they have been denied a job, housing, or a professional license because of a criminal incident that shows up on a background check.
Lawyers are available for virtual information sessions via Zoom. Lawyers can advise on the expungement process. Lawyers can also answer general questions. Lawyers will not represent clients in court as part of this clinic.
Expungement court forms will be provided to all registrants, or they can be picked up at the Law Library for free.
See the Application Process tab below for more information on attending.
