Enforcing a Child Support Order - Minnesota Courts self-help information
Choose from the links below to locate the form that applies to your issue.
"Child support" is court-ordered payments for the financial support of a child.
The Minnesota Courts do not publish forms to start an action for child support. If you need help getting child support, go to the Child Support help topic on the court website, and then the FAQs tab. The following forms are only for when you have an existing child support order.
Forms on the Courts website are organized in "packets" and by individual forms. Packets include form instructions and all individual forms. If you are not sure what form you need, start with the Packet and download each individual form in the packet as you need.
Make sure you read the form instructions to find the right forms for your case. There are two types of child support forms:
- Expedited Process (ex pro) - used only if the County Child Support Office is involved in your case.
- District Court - must be used if the county is not involved in your case.
Some Minnesota court forms are “Fillable Smart Forms.” For information and help using Fillable Smart Forms, see Technical Support.
